Delta Dental investment impacts over 419,000 lives in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont | Vermont Business Magazine
Delta Dental's 2024 Community Impact Report showcases efforts to improve oral health as the nation's largest oral health philanthropist.
Vermont Business Magazine The Delta Dental Institute released its 2024 Community Impact Report, highlighting more than $119 million in investments to improve oral health across all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. These efforts impacted over 15 million lives nationwide, reinforcing Delta Dental's role as the nation's largest oral health philanthropist. This initiative impacts over 419,000 lives in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, including an $8.2 million investment by Northeast Delta Dental.
Delta Dental's community impact investments focused on closing oral health care gaps for older adults, veterans, and rural communities while strengthening oral health education for children. These investments bring Delta Dental's total community contributions over the past 15 years to more than $2.3 billion, a testament to a long-standing mission to advance oral and overall health.
In Maine, Northeast Delta Dental invested $1,421,903 impacting 391,920 people, through programs and initiatives such as the Dental Lifeline Network (DLN) to help provide comprehensive dental care to people with disabilities and complicated health conditions and seniors in need.
In New Hampshire, Northeast Delta Dental invested $6,055,215 impacting 17,275 people including the Crotched Mountain Foundation to improve oral health outcomes for clients.
In Vermont, Northeast Delta Dental invested $694,826 impacting 9,812 people including the People’s Health & Wellness Clinic to provide dental services to individuals who would otherwise not have access to care.
